I'm Hatem Al-Selwi, a Software Engineer III and AI researcher based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Over 6+ years I've operated at the crossroads of enterprise software engineering and applied deep learning research.

At UST Global Malaysia, I build full-stack enterprise applications for Fortune 500 companies using React, TypeScript, C#, NestJS, and PostgreSQL on Azure and Kubernetes — while mentoring engineers and driving CI/CD standards.

In parallel, I research intelligent transportation systems at Multimedia University, with a thesis on deep learning-based road traffic prediction. I've authored 10 peer-reviewed publications across journals and conferences. Curiosity is the constant.
